You must read, understand and agree to the following in order to participate in an Avid Adventures Japan and/or Adventure Divas Ltd. tour.
I understand and am fully aware that the tour takes place in an outdoor environment and that the risks and dangers associated with outdoor activities and sports cannot be fully eliminated. I also
have read, understand and agree to the following:
- The "organizer" (Avid Adventures and/or Adventure Divas Ltd. including all staff) will provide emergency assistance as necessary but will not be held responsible or liable for any injuries,
loss or accidents.
- The organizer will not be held liable for unavoidable events such as unforeseen natural occurences and accidents.
- The participant is responsible for signing up for his/her own insurance in order to receive payments over and above what is provided by the Japanese group insurance plan in case of an
accident.
- The organizer who has in depth knowledge of the tour area, may make the decision to stop or cancel the tour if determined to be unsafe. In the case of an accident, the organizer will find the
quickest way to request emergency assistance and will respond to the situation as quickly as possible. If emergency medical treatment is required, the participant agrees to allow the medical
doctor and or organizer/guide staff to provide emergency treatment.
- The participant agrees to the cancellation and refund policy.
- The organizer will determine the amount of the refund, if any, on a case by case basis if a tour has to be cancelled during the tour due to earthquakes, wind and flood damage, incidents
and/or accidents.
- If a participant damages property or equipment owned or managed by the organizer, he/she will be responsible for paying for the repairs or full replacement cost.
- The right to publish photos, videos, reports and results taken during the tour/event is held by the organizer.
- The organizer will strictly abide by the personal information protection rules when handling personal information provided by the participant.
Photos/Video Content
The ownership of photos and videos taken during the the tour belongs to the organizer. I understand and agree that this content may be used in social media, website, blog posts as well as
magazines and other media.
Personal Information
The organizer recognizes the importance of personal information and will strictly adhere to the personal information protection laws and related laws. Personal information will be carefully
handled based on the organizer's personal information protection policies.
