The Kirishima Ebino-Kougen Extreme Trail is a race that takes place in Kyushu located in southern Japan. The course goes through a National Park that will stun you with some of the most expansive and impressive scenery that the country's got to offer. The aid stations are stocked with local delicacies and the "summer festival" pre-race party on Saturday is one of the most fun (and delicious) venues in town!

As with many of the races that Avid works with, the Kirishima Ebino-Kougen is one of the most popular races in Kyushu and the Japanese registrations filled up within half a day and are already closed for 2019. We have however, very fortunately, reserved a few of these coveted spots for racers coming from overseas as well as non-Japanese racers living in Japan. There are 2 categories: the 63km long course, and the 37km short course that you can choose from. Race details are available on the official race website. Race registration can be done through Avid.
