ACCOMMODATIONS

The race is organized by the local tourist bureaus in the Shinetsu area. As such, as part of the race requirements, all racers (and pacers) are required to stay at accommodations designated(*) by the race organizer as follows:

 

110km race:  On Sat. Sept 14 (before the race) and on Sun. Sept 15 (after the race). 

100mile race: On Sun. Sept 15 (after the race).

 

*Designated accommodations are accommodations that are members of the local tourist bureaus which help organize and staff the race.

**Fri. Sept 13 option also available for those who want to stay an additional night.

 

Accommodation Prices (per person)

 

 

1) Fri. Sept 13, 2019 (Optional)

Accommodation Location:  Madarao Kougen

Includes dinner & breakfast.

  • Single occupancy:  JPY 8,000 per person   (JPY 8,000/room)
  • Double occupancy:  JPY 7,000 per person (JPY 14,000/room)
  • Triple occupancy:  JPYY 7,000 per person (JPY 21,000/room)

*100 mile race start: Sat. Sept 14 at 18:30

 

 

2) Sat. Sept 14, 2019 (Mandatory for 110km race)

Accommodation Location:  Madarao Kougen

Check-in: Sat. Sept 14 (afternoon) / Check-out: Sun. Sept 15 (morning)

Includes, buffet dinner & breakfast (A buffet dinner will be served at the Welcome Party and an early morning buffet breakfast will be available near the race start area in Madarao Kougen Restaurant Heidi.)

  • Single occupancy:  JPY 11,000 per person  (JPY 11,000/room)
  • Double occupancy:  JPY 9,000 per room (JPY 18,000/room)
  • Triple occupancy:  JPYY 9,000 per room (JPY 27,000/person)

 *110km race start: Sun. Sept 15 at 5:30am

 

 

3) Sun. Sept 15, 2019 (Mandatory for both 110km and 100 mile race)

Accommodation Location:  Myoko Kougen

Check-in: Sun. Sept 15 (anytime - after you finish the race) / Check-out: Mon. Sept 16 (mid-morning)

Breakfast included.

  • Single occupancy:  JPY 10,000 per person (JPY 10,000/room)
  • Double occupancy:  JPY 8,000 per person (JPY 16,000/room)
  • Triple occupancy:  JPY 8,000 per person (JPY 24,000/room)

*Race finishes on Mon. Sept 16 (Cutoff time 3:30am)

 

 

Note:  

- Rates for triple occupancy are the same per person as those for double occupancy.

- The above rates shown are adult rates.

- Children from 6-11 years old are 80% of the above adult rates.

- Children under 5 years old rate is JPY 1,000/child (no extra bedding, no meals provided)

- All rates are inclusive of tax.

- The hotel you'll be staying at before and after the race are located in different areas as the race is a one way course. Please bring your luggage to the racer luggage check-in on the morning of the race so that it can be transported to the finish line for you.

- Detailed information about the hotels will be sent to you closer to the race dates.

* Please note: It is customary in Japan for race registration/booking sites to charge an admin fee & system usage charge. This fee of 10% for international entries will be added to your registration & accommodation fee when signing up for the race.

CANCELLATIONS.....just in case

 

If for some reason you need to cancel your trip, our cancellation policy for the package is as follows:

 

Before Aug 24, 2019 (24:00 JST)*:   100% refund

Aug 25 - Sept 12, 2019 (24:00 JST):  80% refund

Sept  13 (24:00 JST) :  50% refund

Sept 14 and anytime thereafter:  No refunds

 

Please note, all refunds are subject to the following administration/service charges.

  • Accommodation cancellation - JPY 3,000 (per booking)

 Note: There is no refund available for the race entry fees.
